About me
My name is Yoanna Petrova and I am an integrative psychotherapist in Training under Supervision.
I embarked on my academic journey in high school, where my philosophy teacher ignited a deep curiosity in me for humanistic disciplines. A few years later, after completing a degree in psychology, a spontaneous decision let me to the Austrian Alps, where I decided to begin my training as a psychotherapist.
I live in Vienna and consider both Bulgaria and Austria to be my home. I value the balance between theory and practice, and draw my knowledge from professional literature and different training courses as well as from lived experience.

Method
Integrative therapy is a holistic, scientifically based psychotherapeutic approach. It considers the individual as a whole, taking into account their physical, emotional, mental, and social aspects, and promotes personal development and symptom relief by combining and applying talk therapy, body-oriented methods, and creative media in a targeted manner.
